Door Latch on C6
I was having a problem with the electronic door latches on our C6 and posted on the forum. I got a reply on how to remedy the problem. It was corrosion on the contacts and very easy to fix. Remove the latch, take it apart with 6 small screws, clean the contacts and reinstall. I think a good contact cleaner would be good but not having some, I used some very fine sandpaper and cleaned the contacts. They work great. I may look for some anti corrosion/contact "stuff" and use it to help prevent future corrosion. This forum has been very helpful with this type of help. Thanks for all the feedback and input.

I was having the same problem ( I THOUGTH ) I tried sealing it with some Dielectric Grease around the gasket. Then i bought a new one at the dealer. SHOCKED under $20. As it turned out things started to get really weird. drivers window would not go up and the passenger side window would only move if the drivers door was open. The key here is the anti theft light would all ways stay on. Turned out to be broken wire inside the door. $230 at the dealer ALL IS WELL !
