I just added a cam and headers to my '06 mn6, and hooked the new mid pipe up to my existing Bullet exhaust. The top of the exhaust on the passenger side is now so close to the underside that it is causing a banging/rattling noise. Thinking I may have to put something between the two to quiet them down. Any ideas.

If the spot is were I think, it is at a bend below the cats.
Common passenger side problem. My TECH took a hammer to the overlapping material past the weld, it needs to be bent up/down just a wee bit. Some cut off the extra material too. Cosmetic only. Extra material beyond the seam.
My American Racing Headers on my 08 had this problem. Common reported problem with all the top manufactures. Always the passenger floor side seam some worse than others.

I may have misunderstood the OP's original post. If by exhaust you mean mufflers then I am not familiar with the problem. I was thinking you added the headers and the problem in my thinking is up front right where the down pipe comes down and makes the bend to run parallel with the ground. The floor, so to speak, is welded together and extra materiel is present beyond the weld which can touch the tubing.
