Default Which look better

A friend of mine gave me a set of black onyx led tails, the ones that have the slits in the center. I already had the eagle eye leds. Didnt think I would like them, but when I installed them I liked the way the slits complimented the silver paint and my clear side markers. When I put them on I sent out my eagle eyes for tinting and now that I got them back and put them on the car I seem to like the black onyx ones better. Take a look at the pics for comparison purposes, what do you guys think?

I've been debating the exact same compairson. I think I like the onyx better for my situation. Both look great on your car. If you decide the not use the onyx let me know I will be purchasing a set rather soon.

I have been thinking of swapping them every week, since they take 5 minutes to switch. I like the eagle eyes lit up better, but off, I prefer the black onyx ones.

I didn't realize they were that easy to swap out! I agree with you, if it's that easy, swap them whenever you want.

Slits are ugly, round are less ugly.

I wonder if the LEOs would be less likely to stop you with the slits as the lights are obvious.
Just a thought

Not sure, the reflectors on the Eagle Eyes do reflect light even with the tinting. If they want to bust chops they will find a way. Both sets of tails are brighter than stock tails.

Could you have the onyx on the inside and the others on the outside?

Unlit the slits, when lit the eagle eyes. No help but both look good.
