Well im going to look at a new 2012 GS Coupe. It had nav. Its 6-speed man. Its yellow. The price i got them at now is $56,995. Is that a good price or should I try for lower?
also "build" your exact car on edmunds.com, for your zip code, and see what they say
its market value is (just add'l. guidance)...also confirm any other incentives.
suspect you're getting pretty close...!

There right at true market value with there price. How they have theres is excatly how I want one. Just trying to get into my dream car before I go to boot camp for the army.
A forum dealer should be discounting a 2013 that much or more plus you will have more choices. If you want to check prices, just go to kerbeck.com and you can see their inventory with MSRP and their discount. Most forum dealers will offer about the same price.
However, if that is the car you want, try getting them down a little more on price and see what they say. Your dealer may not go any lower on the price so you will have to consider your options.

Criswell has a 2012 GS coupe 2lt yellow for $55620. If the car you're looking at is a 2lt interior, you're paying too much.
OP says (post #3) the car he is looking at has a MSRP about $3K higher...must have a couple of more options. That could account for the price differential...

Good point.
OP - I ended up joining the USAA and got additional discounted pricing through that program. You just have to join and pay a small membership fee, you don't need to be military to receive the auto discounts and you're membership helps others in the military at the same time. I think membership was in the $50 range and I think it saved me a few hundred if I remember correctly. May give you some extra bargaining room.

I'm a USAA member. Being a member entitles you to a $750 additional discount through ANY Chevrolet dealer. However, I would not recommend using their buying service for a Corvette; although USAA's buying service usually gets you a nice price with no negotiation, the current advertised prices from forum dealers beats USAA's buying service by a few thousand dollars. The price I just bought mine from Kerbeck for was much cheaper than USAA quoted.
Also, visit the Chevrolet website and configure or "build" a car. Sometimes you have to do it several times, but eventually you'll get a $1000 private offer coupon pop up (make sure to disable pop-ups on that site).
