Default Polishing Chrome wheels

I was wondering what all of you guys use to keep the chrome shining? My wheels are looking, well, sort of dull and I need some recommendations on a good product to bring the shine back.

When i bought my car the wheels were clean but had deep water spot on them from it sitting out at the car lot. I've used BlueMagic Metal Polishing Cream for years and it took out the water spot and the wheels shine like new money. You'll love the results

I have used an assortment of chrome polishes and have them in stock. Sometimes I use a combination if it I have not polished the wheel for a long time.

First, make sure you have chrome wheels and not high polished coated wheels which have a milky appearance. You then treat the wheels based upon the wheel type:

Chrome:
1. Clean with Griots Chrome Wheel Cleaner (Safe on chrome wheels only)
2. Polish with a chrome specific polish (Mothers)
3. Seal with a sealant or wheel protectant (Rejex)
4. Remember to clean the barrels too, get a Daytona Wheel Brush or you'll see pitting inside

High Polished/Coated:
1. Use a safe wheel cleaner for coated wheels (Griots, P21S, DP -- no acids)
2. Polish only with paint polishes (never metal polishes)
3. Seal and protect with a good paint sealant or wheel sealant
4. Use a Daytona Wheel Brush or Wheel Woolies to keep barrels clean too

On my chrome wheels and my customers I use Chemical Guys wheel seal. Wheels stay clean and shiny for a long time.

Especially with the NO ACIDS, cleaner. I had chrome wheels on my c5 and I used a leading brand of Chrome wheel cleaner when I was washing after a long trip. Sprayed the chrome wheels and rinsed and they looked great but when everything dried I turned all my drilled slotted rotors a water spotted black. Read the label and sure enough it said "Caution Corrosive". Who would have thought a chrome wheel cleaner would have done that kind of damage.
