Default No start!

I can't start my car. I have a 2006 Lemans blue convertible, 16,000 miles. Suddenly last week when I went to start the engine the message came up "No FOBS detected". The FOBS worked fine opening the doors and the trunk. To start the engine I had to put the FOB in the slot in the glove box. I have been using the car for a week or so like this. The battery is two years old, and always kept at full charge with a CTEK smart charger. Tonight I decided I would try to correct this issue. First I replaced both FOB batteries. Same condition, problem not sloved. Because the slot in the glove box allowed me to start the engine I assumed it was working properly. I went ahead and reprogramed both FOBS, and now they unlock the doors and trunk, but I can't start the engine, even with the FOB in the slot in the glove box.
Any suggustions? Checking the forum the RCDLR (remote control door lock receiver) has been metioned several time as a possible faulty component? Has any had this component fail? I think my only option at this point is to tow the car to the dealer.
Thank for any assistance you can offer!

Make sure the fob batteries are in correctly. If their upside down they will not work. Good luck.

Even though you say battery in car is charged and on a maintainer, have it tested. Also check the cables for corrosion and any lose ground wires. Had battery go bad even with Tender on it and these cars will do strange things with weak or dead batteries.
