I always wondered why they never sold a set that was white until you hit your signal and then went white-amber-white-amber or amber-off-amber-off. They sold a couple of sets for my old Mustang GT I had that did that. Looked really nice being white and still turning amber when I hit the blinker.

Never had a huge issue with them as long as you put some dielectric grease on the connectors.

Here are switchback LEDs for the DRL. I haven't tried them yet. I'm still deciding if I want all white at night, or if the amber makes the car more visible. Driving in Georgia, we need all the help we can get to not get "hit!"

I have them installed on my GS. It's required in Switzerland. White DRL and orange turnsignal.

I just installed the "switchback" lights, today. They are white when the parking lights or headlights are on. They are amber when the turn signals are on. They are not on at all with the headlights or parking lights off. In other words, you will not have DRL's. I still like the effect. It makes the car very noticeable at night. They are brighter than the factory amber bulbs. During the day, I intend to keep the parking lights on. I have replaced all of my exterior lights (and most of my interior lights) with LED's for less power draw, little bulb heat, and a lot longer bulb life.

One thing to remember, you will need load resistors to prevent "hyper-flash." They, of course, are spliced into the two outside wires in parallel.

If anyone is interested, I will post some pictures.
