The lid and cover are fine however the assembly came off the visor and just hangs by the wires. Any ideas? I tried to research and could only find broken cover issues.
I'm guessing that the sunvisor portion is off, but the bezel part is still in place.
If that's the case, you will have to remove that bezel, re-attach to the sunvisor and follow the procedure link attached. post #2 http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...ent-on-c6.html
Good Luck
I checked out post 5 and it's a great resource to remove and install. My issue is the that the unit somehow came off the visor and is just hanging by the vanity light wires. See pics please.

I received your pic, and now see that it's the mirror/cover that detached itself from the sunvisor. The plastic tabs that hold the mirror to the sunvisor are broken, and cannot be replaced. The mirror must be epoxied back into the sunvisor.
I sent you an email about the DIY. I have fixed one of these in the past.
Let me know how you make out with the fix. Oh, just one question, is this for the drivers side? If so, does it have the homelink?
Yes, drivers side and yes home link. After applying the 5 minute epoxy to the mirror and letting it dry do I then glue the assembly back into the visor?

Yes, the mirror assembly will have to be epoxied into the sunvisor opening.
