I've read several threads on this, and when it started happening to me (2007 Z), I detached all four wheel speed sensor connections, applied a little dielectric grease to them, and then reinstalled. Hasn't happened since. Mine was a little different, as it only seemed to occur on the highway. I would actually get "Service AH" and "Service ABS" together.

Default For what its worth

I had a similar sporadic occurance on my 2001 C5. After multiple trips to the dealer - with no solutions I might add - the tech sugested that the cause might be the ABS pump not spinning-up fast enough during the first start. Apparently the computer detects that and sets the fault codes - hence the nanny messages. His suggestion - which worked - was to take the car to a long straight stretch and slam on the brakes to force the ABS to engage - did this multiple times over the stretch of a few days. He said that the pump if not used sometimes binds up slightly and needs to "loosen up". Whether the diagnosis was right - it worked.
