Console changes

Can anyone tell me if the 2008 /2009 consoles (Carbon fiber look or the piano black with chrome trim) interchange with the console from a 2006?
The flat grey looks very bland and I would like to upgrade.

Yes. The switchover is much easier if you don't have F55 but the newer bezel will fit perfectly in your 2006. I did the same thing to my 2005.

I do have the F55....what challenges does that present. Also, is the radio bezel interchangeable as well?

They are all interchangeable. I pulled out my 07 console and installed an 08 hydrocarbon one. No problems. Actually better cause the new one did not have the tombstone

The '08+ F55 switches are different, as are the connectors under the console. You have to adapt your current connector to the new style switch.
