The A/C in my '06 vette is acting strange. With the fan blower indicator showing wide open, it's only putting out very little air. That's only when I have it set to outside air coming in. The air is cold but blowing very little. The wierd thing is that if I have it on circulating air no air comes out of the vents. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Check to see what mode it's in. In other words which vents it's set to. IE. defrost, lower or upper vents. Then check to see if you have it on auto.
Did you check the fuses for the AC system? A few people have pulled the AC fuse, replaced it, and it somehow resets the system.
Also, there was an issue on here not that long ago, that the temp sensor locks up and has to be reset.
This can be reset by doing the following.
Press the Front Defrost, Rear Defog and fan up buttons are pressed simultaneously.
No, it's not blowing at all. Altough the fan speed indicator says it is. Only when I'm driving with the outside air coming in, not circulating, does it blow very little but cold.
A friend of mine had an issue like that with her van, it turned out to be filthy filters. My Honda though does that on humid days with the AC on, the filters appear to get damp/wet and then no air will pass through. After running for awhile with the AC off and fan blowing it'll be okay for awhile.
Hey Joni, I pulled the compartment filter and it was in pretty bad shape. Definately have to replace it, BUT, still have the problem. Thanks for the info.
Good luck with it.
Some internal door in my Impala SS stuck giving me no heat for a short time. I guess I should have driven it more often instead of playing with the new Vette so much.
In manual vent mode full fan speed, provided the controller is working, you should hear the fan motor spin whether it blows air or not, otherwise, I'd suspect fuse or motor, neither should be very expensive to replace. Neglecting your filter is probably not good for the blower motor...
I'd look at the controller as a last resort due to the cost. It's about twice as much as the blower motor.
