I would be all over this for my vette. The ipad mini is SO much cheaper than the in-dash units and yes it does WAY more. Please someone come out with a kit for this!
I don't think and iPad mini will hold up to the tempature extremes of a car environment. Needs to work when tempatures are well below freezing and more than 120.
