I have had my 08 for a year and a half. If has had the trans rebuilt twice, water pump replaced, oil pan gasket replaced, and wiring problems with the seat. Worst reliability of any car I have ever owned. It has 50,000 miles.

My 2008 has been perfect. Love it more every time I drive it! Got it from NCM in October 2007. About 9,000 miles on her now.

roof noise fixed and rear differential fluid changed fixes all in my 2008 z51. Looking forward to Koni FSD's. This vehicle is just hard to beat, it's just true.

'08 bought new - 18,000 miles. Absolutely love the car - 0.0 problems except for squeaky roof (easy repair).

Got an 08 about a year ago. NPP got stuck open, fixed under warranty I really enjoy the car had a squeak in the top but I was able to locate it and fix it. No more noise
So far so good - knock on wood

My 08 has almost 80K miles on it. Not one issue since I drove it off the dealers lot. 3 sets of tires, regular maintenance, she drives like a dream. I wore the paint off driving it so much.

My 08 bought last September has had:

front wheel bearings replaced:the steering vibrating like cellphone above 40mph, cyclical grinding noise

Oil pan gasket replaced:
it was sweating on passenger side, appears to be starting again by the silicone placed on the pan by the starter being squished out of place

camshaft and lifters replaced: taken in for fluttering sound at 2k rpm to 3krpm during medium to full throttle. Tech says misfire in cylinder 2, concluded bad lifter. Fluttering sound still remains, beginning to think it is something with the driveshaft per research of other threads on topic as it happens in any gear.

First time I ever turned the radio off I heard the dreaded "ticking" sound that is listed as normal for LS engines, just a heads up before you turn off the radio and hear it as well lol. It's scary hearing it the first time.

Other than the fluttering during full throttle, car is AWESOME! Saving to buy a Grand sport kit because I think those look the best of all model Vettes. Good luck with yours

I bought my 2008 ZHZ back in january. If you dont know what a zhz, its the rental car company "Hertz" model. So at one point in time my car im sure of it, was driven very very badly, and to this day i havent had any problems with it

I don't know about that. I drive a lot of rental cars and I don't abuse them. Even if I get a top of the line car like that. It's just a way to get around when out of town. I don't think they would rent that to a younger driver. But then again I may not be normal.

My '08 Coupe (Z51,4LT) has 80000 miles. Problems (which I consider minor) are 1. Replace Nav system (warranty), 2. replace fan (connection module burned out); 3.axle nuts, 4.squeaky roof. This is my DD and I occasionally track it. Great car!!
