Default Another TPMS question.

Is there anything else that will cause a sensor to fail besides the normal wear or age (battery). I keep getting the service tire monitor warning on the right front. I had the sensor replaced and it worked for a about a week and yesterday the same warning appeared. If it sits for a couple of days it will usually return to normal. All the other monitors work as normal. Could it be the new sensor could be bad as well?

Had that happen on my 2010 GS, it turned out to be the receiving unit which is somehow related to the door opening system. It drove me crazy for about a month; replacing this and that but never seemed to get it solved; finally they ran out of things to replace and figured it out.
