I am fully aware that preserving human life is much more important than what I'm about to ask, but was Kerbeck Chevy able to move their Vette's out or to higher ground before all of this craziness or no???

God bless all those affected by the storm
Good question...I was wondering myself. I am sure they took precautions and got most of the Vettes out of harms way.
We moved all of our inventory off the island on Saturday. Atlantic City is still closed but we were able to get a few people to the dealership this morning to check on the property. We have some external wind damage and the floors in the showrooms have puddles where the wind blew water in through the doors, but there were no floods on our property.
Being right across from the airport, we are on the highest ground on the city and never get water on the lots but we moved the cars just to be safe.
We're being told that we may be able to start moving our cars back to the city tomorrow but I don't know when we will have power again.
Until then, everyone can reach me via email if they have any questions. We also keep the status of the store updated on Facebook and Twitter.
Good luck with it all, we lost our buildings roof in 05's Wilma, all the water was a PITA but we all survived it, some of the Dell computers had water marks internally 10" off the floor, some are still running today!
Just thought about you guys today. I was at the T4T event and I'm now stuck in San Francisco unable to fly back into NY for who knows how long... I was telling a friend out here about the show and wondering if all those beautiful cars on the kerbeck lot were spared. The footage we saw from AC wasn't pretty... glad to hear you guys are ok down there.
Glad you folks are all OK. Although we compete somewhat in business, we hate to hear that our friends are in harms way ! Take care. Hope all clears up soon.
