1st question: There is a popping sound coming from the behind the odometer and where the HUD would be. At times I think it's coming from behind me. It's like the popping on a vinyl record. Any insight?

2008-2009 LS3 vettes with Z51 optional package are the most desirable cars to make fast if you want a c6 platform. With a few bolt-on's and tune one will put down north of 420 easily at the tires...in Tampa with jungle heat. The popping is likely the roof, easy to fix. Change out your rear differential fluid (rear clunking with hard turns in this model year), manual tranny fluid (shifts like lobster butter), and Ranger method your clutch with Prestone DOT4 fluid...trust me, man. Get non- RF tires and you will make a safe gamble is my opinion. Modding this car will help fill that void in your life. If you are early 2008 you may have missed a steering upgrade? I have not lowered mine but the new shocks may do so for me.
