In 2006, I purchased my 2006 C6 3LT package with 3,000 mile on it. The car was the best car I ever have own. I have own Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Honda. I traveled across the USA from St. Louis to Alabama to Washington DC and up to New Jersey and I went through 3 sets of tires to reach 84,000 fun miles. I will be a forever a Corvette guy, but last night I decided it was time to trade it in and move onto a SUV. Something crazy on my part but I felt it was time. So now when I see a Corvette, I will still wave and smile, as I can say that I was a member of the elite club of owners.

Having owned several vettes, and currently being in the ranks of nonowner, I can tell you that thing always stays with you. I sold my last one in 2003, to buy a new home, fix it up etc, then started a business, then decided to do the "fix up an old car" thing. All the while, deep down knowing I am stupid. I always had a vert as a fun car, not a dd. Now, I have none and look forward to the day I sign for my new one.
I decided it was time in august/september, and since then have been looking for the right one. I started out looking for a plain jane 2008 vert, but found them to be overpriced around my area. Then I moved up to looking at 10 gs verts, and am now deciding what do I really do? as I wait for two mortgage refinances to close. I want a 427 vert, I want a grand sport vert, I want, I want I want. Uggghh. oh yeah, then there is the whole C7 thing....WTF?
