Default heated seat problem

Hey guys/gals,
Just had seats redone with yellow inserts, came out looking great. will try to post some pics, however my heated seat doesn't work anymore. the passengers works, but drivers is out. Someone said that when they recover that they do not take the oem heater out of the old cover and put it in the new, however it just occured to me that if this were true then neither seat would work.....
I will start with changing the switches out, but after that...I'm at a loss.
Help please
thanks
John

I'd start simple and look under the seat to ensure all the seat connectors are plugged in/fully seated. Wouldn't be the first time a connector wasn't quite seated or popped loose or was overlooked during install.

Make sure all of these connectors are tight. I zip tied them so they will not pull apart.

There are two connectors for the seat heaters, one for the back and one for the seat bottom. They are up under the back of the seat cover material.
