I've got a bad grumbling noise coming from under the car. I put it on the lift and it's coming from the torque tube. Brought it to the dealer and just waiting for the news. 2010 coupe 17k miles shouldn't have a problem like this imho.

Sounds like a bearing inside the torque tube, especially if it stops when the clutch is pushed in. Unlike most cars, the driveshaft in the Corvette spins when the car is in neutral.

Sounds like a bearing inside the torque tube, especially if it stops when the clutch is pushed in. Unlike most cars, the driveshaft in the Corvette spins when the car is in neutral.
That is the way a front engine rear transmission car works. No way around it. If you put the clutch in the rear the drive shaft would be turning all the time instead of just when the clutch is engaged.

I just mentioned it because the bearing would stop making noise if the clutch was pushed in...I figured it might help him diagnose.
