does anyone have npp exhaust with long tube headers? was wondering how it sounds! i went on you tube and couldnt really find anything! im putting ARH longtubes with a high flow catted x-pipe on and was wondering if it would sound loud! ( kinda wanting to go for loud) lol or should i order an aftermarket muffler and have it done with the header install!??? all opinions appreciated!! thanks guys
I have ARH 1 7/8" long tube headers, low flow cats and with the NPP exhaust I can tell you it is LOUD with the valves open. Being able to close the valves is a great feature for those long cruises.
I'm planning on this mod as well and did a good bit of research on it and feel it's going to be awesome. Most all of the posts that say they have done it are very happy with it.

Same here, too darn loud for around town with them open
My car sounds like an F1 car when I go underneath a highway overpass. LG long tubes, HFC's, x-pipe and NPP exhaust with mild-to-wild switch. It sounds like a symphony to me but I realize I have flat out scared people in the next lane when I go WOT. I realize I sound like a child by my description and that is exactly how happy I am to see people's amazement. I often wonder if it makes other driver's mad but noone ever says anything disparaging.

^you will love them. LT's + NPP is generally regarded as the best all around. That said, I realize Corsa, Borla, etc. are marvelous as is many others. LT's open you up flow-wise and the NPP gives you the option to be quiet vs. testosterone rager.
I too am thinking of this "sleeper" (as if you can call any vette a sleeper!!) setup. Kooks headers, corsa x-pipe and my factory 08-NNP exhaust with exhaust controller.
I would love to hear it if anyone has this setup or this "type" of setup on there car currently?
