Diminished Value after Accident

I had a guy back into my door and trash it, along with shattering the drivers window. I am getting it fixed, but I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience in the potential amount of diminished value the car may still have after the repairs. Corvette buyers are particular and possibly seeing paint work or info on a carfax could reduce the value of the car...any experiences out there?

Sounds like it was superficial damage and not really structural i.e. no frame damage.
I wouldn't worry about it.

Could be depending on quality of repair. Most insurance companies say no structural damage, no diminished value. Put 2 cars next to each other that are the same with the exception that one was in an accident and see which one is offered more.
