Rear view camera for c6
I choose to put in an aftermarket radio into my 08. I have front and back cameras (I use the front camera all the time, hardly ever use the rear camera). I went with a Pioneer AVIC Z2.
To get a camera to work with the stock 08 GPS you will need to get some kind of adaptor that has two A/V inputs. Check with a stereo shop that does cameras also. When I was looking in 08 there was one available, but I would have had to remove the radio and send it somewhere to get this added. And of course the warranty on the factory radio would probably have been voided.
Good luck

Someone else posted about installing a flip-up (or was it flip-down?) screen above his right knee, looked practical. And a Forum vendor posted about installing a Camaro mirror with the camera display in there. Took some work but not overpowering.
If I decide not to buy a C7, I'll probably do one of those options to our C6.
I used to talk about 20 people a week out of spending 350.00 on a piece of junk
Your only option is for an aftermarket radio.
I have many options to help you with that should you want to replace radio. Just give me a call

It was a good price for my experiment of mounting the monitor. If it failed miserably, I was only out a little money. I took the back cover off the monitor, attached it a small door hinge with (2) tiny nut/bolts, replaced the cover, and attached the hinge under the dash as seen in the photos. I just drilled 2 small holes under the dash, which would never be noticed if the camera monitor was removed at a later stage. In order to keep the hinge tight, I removed the pin, bent it a bit, and re-inserted it in the hinge. The hinge/monitor stays up, and does not flip down until the Operator wants it to.
The site has all the different cameras that can be used for backup, or front facing applications.
This is a pic of the front camera mounted position. The material on top of the camera is heat insulation to keep the heat from the radiator away from the top of the camera.

[/IMG] Where the camera is mounted, it gets over 150 F when the car is idling at a stop light in summer heat.
I had a remote thermocouple temporarily attached to monitor the temp in that area prior to putting on the insulation. I bought my night vision camera from the same place, and it has worked wonderfully.
Good Luck

They will tell you the 360-2 for the Ford and Corvette are not available.
We sell a couple grand worth of CHR550 and V5 every week and I talk to Coastaltech weekly. They told us they do not have them as parts are not readily available to make them and a disc item at this point
They are worthless and nothing but a problem waiting to happen

For someone to spend 350.00 on one is pointless if you ask me
and here is whyif you but say our Pioneer x940BT aftermarket nav package for currently 699.99
send in mail in rebate for 100.00
sell the stock NAV unit for 400.00
add the rear camera in a Pyle rear cam for 30.0
you have 229.99 into this aftermaret install all said and done
Buy the Lockpick at 350.00 add a Lockpick camera for 80.00 that is 430.00 to add a camera and you still have the horrible stock NAV in some cases no Ipod no A2DP streaming.
200.00 more to add the Lockpik and a camera than the Pioneer is

With the Pioneer you get a boat load more features too

I just like to break everything down for everyone who called me to buy one and show how you can really upgrade and end up spending for less money AND be happier with final results too
We will be able to get song info to display in the HUD but not the NAV at this time when we release the new harness. This is going to take a major change in the software from Kenwood/Garmin to match what GM has to get the NAV to display. Maybe for 2014 units
