In the two months I've owned my 2008 base coupe I've installed a Vararam intake, blacked out the emblems, put in an MGW shifter, put in some Lloyd's mats, and had it detailed and tuned. It's putting out 406 at the wheels.
What do I do next? It's a black car and I'm a fan of the all black look.
I've been quoted $800 for powdercoating my rims and calipers. This is something I really want to do, but then again, I don't really want to spend that much money on something that wont make it faster. Plus I really like the chrome gumbys I currently have.
I've been looking at a HUD, but don't know how much I really need that either.
I have NPP and I'm quite happy with it, so no exhaust upgrades.
I really want to put a supercharger in it, but it's not going to happen.

Any suggestions?
I have the HUD and find myself looking at the dash 90% of the time so I just turn the HUD off. What about some headers? I know it technically exhaust but you could still use your NPP.

Same with when I would drive the C5 my boss had. I always turned it off.
You are right, headers and a tune would WAKE the car up a lot and not break the bank.

Some small interior mods as well.
I have all black interior but am thinking of doing some red/black accents to break it up a bit.
I prefer performance first, pretty stuff later. I would add a set of headers next and port your TB and Intake. Then get rid of the crappy stock tires if you haven't already done so.
I think the next thing you need to do is order a bunch of catalogs from outfits like Corvette Central, West Coast Corvettes, Mid America Motorworks, Zip Products, etc. etc. Once you get the catalogs, start browsing and you should become inspired. Have fun.

You know, some engine covers, the inside of the doors, around ever button, light, cubby hole, door handles, heck....chrome out the door window molding! lol
Along with some swagger. A Corvette running suit, some shoes, shorts, shirts, pants, necklace, sunglasses, hats, underwear, socks and some sleep wear.
