Is this with Nav? If so, push and hold the actual time on the screen and you will get a screen with all adjustments.

Base radio with no NAV system:

to cycle back and forth from 12hr to 24hr:

start the engine
turn on the radio
push & hold the "H" or "M" button for 5 seconds or so (until it beeps)
then push the **** that controls base/treble/etc. (each time you push this **** it toggles the hours setting)

Well, maybe. I think I discovered another set of instructions that are slightly different.

To change the time default setting from 12 hour to
24 hour, press either the H or the M button for
two seconds to enter the clock mode. Press the tune
**** to select between the 12 or 24 hour display format.
The clock mode will automatically time out with the
changed display format set as the current default setting.
So, I'm not sure which is correct.

Let me know which one works. I can't try it because my C6 has the Navigation radio.

That worked...actually, they are pretty much the same as the 'tune' **** also adjust the bass/treble.

I must have inadvertently hit it before when i was adjusting the clock.

I wonder why i couldn't find those instructions in the manual??

thanks again.

I looked in 2 different owner's manuals, the 2011 and my 2012 and those instructions are not there.

Form member Scissors posted those in 2004. but I don't know where he got them. Not sure where I got the 2nd set, but if they're the same, glad you cleared that up.

I have a '12 GS 1LT & recall seeing something in the manual...but...the radio clock continually reverts back to 24hr time...maybe I'm pressing something inadvertantly..dunno...but I'll try this from the earlier post;

To change the time default setting from 12 hour to
24 hour, press either the H or the M button for
two seconds to enter the clock mode. Press the tune
**** to select between the 12 or 24 hour display format.
The clock mode will automatically time out with the
changed display format set as the current default setting.

That seems strange the instructions say that the engine has to be started....

Sorry, but where in those instructions does it tell you how to switch back and forth between 12-Hr format and 24-Hr format?

Is this another 'memory preset' that is unique to each of the fobs, 1 & 2?

If it is, that could explain the clock changing it's display "on it's own".

True it don't probably because it is so simple to figure out by simply pressing a couple buttons.

Maybe you have to wait until the hour is 13 or higher?
