Just traded my 07 Z06 for a 427 Convertible from Boardwalk Chevrolet. Tim at Boardwalk is a man of his word. Drove 5 hours to pick up car and worth every mile. I know the track guys don't like this car but for someone who wants the best of two worlds ( sun, wind, sound and power) this is the car. The ride is smoother and the power still there. I know it is a tenth of a second slower and without mod's you can't track her. But if you are like most of us that will not ever matter. Call it want you want (Grand Sport with bigger motor, Etc.) but coming from a Z06 I can tell you it is a decision I will not regret.

Reason: Removed price
Congrats, nice ride! I like the black accents on her. Saw that one here when I was looking, but it was a bit too far for me being on the east coast. I am not sure, but I dont think we are supposed to mention pricing levels.

Beautiful car! Like you said, you now have the best of both worlds.
Beautiful. Talking price is considered tacky by some and that is true sometimes and other times not so much. That said, to say we are not allowed to talk money, prices or the like is a bit over-the-top and more than heavy handed on CF's part if that is indeed true. This is a public forum remember.
Congrats on your nice new 427. Don't worry about track performance or a tenth of a second or whatever. Most owners of roadsters have other priorities for enjoying their vettes.

That is kinda how I looked at it but removed it anyway so as to not ruffle any feathers.
I wasnt trying to discourage the price thing as a forum rule. I just thught it was in bad form to discuss the pricing obtained from a forum dealer, when the advertise them over in the sale section at different numbers. If I am wrong, my apologies. Its still a fablous car in a great color combo.

No offense taken. I appreciated the heads up. Thanks
Very tasteful. Chalk the composed ride up to the Adjustible Magnetic Ride Control Suspension standard on the 427 Convertible (and ZR1), never available on your '07 Z06.
Pay no attention whatsoever to the fabricated performance numbers Chevrolet advertises, and just enjoy that beauty. Yahoo!
My take on posting prices is that you are doing the vendor a disservice if you were able to buy below the published price and then broadcast that fact for other prospective buyers to see. The supporting vendors are paying for the bandwidth we all enjoy, and it is better not to cut into their potential profits. So you did the right thing...
That was my point, although it was unclear. The dealers offer nice deals in their posted prices. if you do better, just give them a thumbs up. no need to put them on the spot. make sure you list it in the NRB section as well
