Default Rim Question

I have an 05 C6 manual... I am looking at rims for it.... Should i just go with the same size or would any of you recommend going wider as in 9.5 in the front and 11" in the rear? Any advise would be great... thanks... IYAOYAS

Im no expert, i put gs rear quarters on my car and im running factory Z06 spyders, the front sticks out slightly, ive heard that a smaller tire changes this effect.

Wider is always better.

18X9.5 w/275/35 fronts and 19X11 w/325/30 rears is a popular combination for base C6 models. Many tire options in these sizes.

If you are planning on adding big brakes (Z06) then the wheel choices are more limited.

If you stick with the popular Forum Vendors you will get wheels with the correct offsets necessary to fit your car without any clearance issues.

Congrats on your new car and welcome to the Forum.

I don't think 325/30/19 will fit unless you put wide body fenders on your car. I think they will stick out too much and probably catch a fender.
