I think they are terrible. I have done the drivers side seat bottom rebuild. Willing to do more or even a trim shop. What can be done. Any suggestions?

You may need new foam to go along with the seat bottom rebuild. The seat bottom rebuild basically keeps the foam from falling between the seat frame rails but does nothing about collapsed foam. The only thing you can do with that is replace it. You have two options, stock foam or the so called stiffer foam part that has been sold on the forum over the last couple of years.
Stiffer foam? Even then I'm not so sure. These seats and seat backs are like a cheap worn out mattress set. There was a pair of 2012 Corvette seats on e/bay. Just sold. Are they 'better'?

as Bill said you need the denser foam. your weight will make a difference and the 2012 seats are not really any more comfortable.

From what I hear from people who did the 2012 conversion is that it is basically only for looks. A forum member said there was a little more padding in the shoulder area but that was about it.
The carvagio and apsis seats look a lot more supportive but they are also big money. I think both are over $6k. On the for sale section there was a vendor selling Corbeau seats that looked pretty supportive. They didnt have any power options though.
Yes there is a solution and it is not cheap/DIY/slip on new covers/add padding here and there....now with that said several companies are out there and I selected Caravaggio Corvettes (Canada) for their Daytona Sport Seats.
The seat transform the ride and feel of the C6...you sit IN the seat and NOT on top of it (OEM style), leather is top shelf leather and not some plasticized leather, seat backing is CF (is an option but worth it and if not in your price then color matched (to exterior color) shells, full functionality of the OEM controls but yes do loose the side air bags... anyway I have never looked back at my decision to purchase the Caravaggio seats>>>
