I say throw in the towel. I had one, it consumed batteries like they were free, and then it broke...would not left click. I took it apart to fix it and found it could not be repaired so I donated it to the trash can. Much happier with my regular mouse. I bought a diecast to sit on my desk instead...no batteries required.

Way too much effort is being wasted for a computer mouse. Those things aren't purchased to be used as much as a quality mouse anyway. They are bought for novelty. Put it on your desk and enjoy...

I have one. Keep the headlights off and they last me about 5 months. Heavy use also. Not quality as in a good wireless mouse, but I use my computers at home for recreational and fun serfing. No gaming of course which requires a high quality one. No issues and will get another one if this one ever craps out on me. Going on 2 years now.

I have one of these Z06 mice, and its wireless communication is so poor, it's basically unusable. So it just sits on a shelf as a decoration.
