one wire end gets inserted into the top left Black slot, & the other into the bottom middle pink slot.
It was noted above, but black is '-' and pink is '+'. You don't want to blow a fuse . I also bought the Blendmount V1 bracket and mirrortap cable. Could have made a cheaper one for sure, but that one looks OEM, and the 2nd shortest was absolutely perfect for the V1. I don't mind paying a little extra when the product is that well made . The V1 mount is fantastic as well. I just put a rubber piece under the tab of my V1 so I could just let it click once. Otherwise it'd be too far forward for my tastes (and block visibility more). Now it sits flush against the mirror, with just the minimum clearance from the mirror. Took me several tries, but ended up adjusted perfectly. I carry a plastic pic inside the console to knock off the piece of rubber and remove detector when needed.
Another interesting observation. I assume the mirror is already fused (can't imagine it would not be), so what purpose does adding a fuse to this cord other than to lower that threshold down for just the radar detector.
