Thermostat
I have an 07 A6 that I am considering installing a 160 thermostat in. Right now the temp runs a constant 200-220 no matter what the outside temp is. First is it normal for this car to run at 200-220 at all times and if I replace the thermostat with a 160 will I need to have the temp the electric fans turn on reset to a lower temp?

My '09 Never ran over 196* with the stock 187* stat unless stuck in traffic.
Have you flushed the cooling system and refilled with fresh Dexcool and water? If not it's time, see your car is a '07. Easy to do.
Check front of the radiator for any trash, bags, leaves, etc., that could be impeding air flow.
You will get different opinions on the stat but i run a 160* and satisfied with it. Good luck.
