Hello all,
I've been lurking for a few weeks and thought I'd post an introduction. I had an '85 C4 many years ago, and have thought about another vette on and off over the years. When the C5 came out I thought 'wow, they've really done this thing right', but I was at a period in life where a vette didn't really fit. When I saw the first C6 I was stunned, and I've wanted one ever since.
I've been kind of looking, keeping an eye out for the right car for about 3 years now. A few weeks ago I spotted an '06 coupe, 3lt, Z51, manual 6 in black. Exactly what I had been looking for. 25k miles on it, very well cared for, and as a bonus it had an A&A T-trim kit along with cam and ti valve springs all installed by A&A (3k miles since the mods); 623HP. The next day I rented a car one-way, drove from Fresno to Ventura and picked up the vette.
I've had it 3 weeks now and I'm loving it! I was a bit hesitant to buy a car with serious mods, but now I'm glad I did. The price was such that the mods were pretty much free, and I doubt I would have ever pulled the trigger to do those mods myself.

CONGRATS I bought my first vette September '12. 2006 C6 Z51....I LOVE my ride and you will too!!!!!!! I live in NJ and got to drive my girl today!!!!!!!
