Guys and Girls, I'm a newbie but I've been reading on the forum for a while now getting school by some very knowledgeable folks. I'm planning on purchasing my first Vett this summer and my question is will someone be so kind and explain to me the different between the 1lt, 2lt, 3lt & 4lt. I hope this is not a dumb request to some of you. Thanks

1LT, 2LT, 3LT, and 4LT are just RPO (Regular Production Option) codes for option packages. What's in each of those option packages varies from one model year to the next. It's also different RPO codes and contents for the different Corvette models. Each option package above the "Standard Equipment" has an additional charge for it.

Here's a sample of what's in those option packages for model year 2012.

2012 Corvette Option Package Contents

Coupe, GS Coupe, Convertible, GS Convertible:
1LT = Standard Equipment
2LT = 1LT + Radio Upgrade/Single CD with Navigation, Bose 9 Speaker Sound System, Bluetooth for Phone, Heads Up Display
3LT = 2LT + Cargo Net/Luggage Shade, Drivers Side Memory Package, Power Passenger Seat, Perforated Sport Leather Seats with Power Bolster/Lumbar, Heated Seats, Power Telescoping Steering Column, Universal Home Remote
4LT = 3LT + Custom Leather Wrapped Interior

Z06:
1LZ = Standard Equipment
2LZ = 1LZ + Radio Upgrade/Single CD with Navigation, Bose 9 Speaker Sound System, Bluetooth for Phone, Heads Up Display, Cargo Net/Luggage Shade, Drivers Side Memory Package, Perforated Sport Leather Seats, Heated Seats, Power Telescoping Steering Column, Universal Home Remote
3LZ = 2LZ + Power Bolster/Lumbar, Power Passenger Seat, Custom Leather Wrapped Interior

ZR1:
1ZR = Standard Equipment
3ZR = 1ZR + Radio Upgrade/Single CD with Navigation, Bose 9 Speaker Sound System, Bluetooth for Phone, Heads Up Display, Cargo Net/Luggage Shade, Drivers Side Memory Package, Perforated Sport Leather Seats, Heated Seats, Power Telescoping Steering Column, Universal Home Remote, Power Bolster/Lumbar, Power Passenger Seat, Custom Leather Wrapped Interior

the fun way to see the differences is this link..

click on Build Your Own , on coupe for instance
click on Compare Trims Side By Side
click on Choose A Trim (set it for 3lt for instance, or 1st to 2lt 2nd to 3lt and 3rd to 4lt, or whatever you want to try)
click on All

you can now see up to 3 at the same time and see options possible/standard on each.

I have a C6 3LT and I'm not sure if I got robbed or not! I did not get the cargo net/luggage shade, but did get both tops! Maybe they were all out of shades.....hahaha. I'm very happy with the tops though, and would gladly buy the shade.

If it was a new car, the cargo net and the rear shade may have been in a rear cubby.

You can probably pick both of those items up for next to nothing right here in the parts section.

I think getting the additional lid was a better deal! Have not had much need for either the shade or net, although they would come in handy from time to time.

Thanks guys!
