Frustrated - 12 A6 Shifter issue
this started happening two days ago now:
I have a 2012 A6 with 1K miles ( I bought it new )
problem:
1. the shiftier is very soft, you can move from (R) to (N) or from (D) to (N) with the most insignificant touch, it was not like that when i bought it.
2. ALSO. when shifting from (D) to (R) it gets stock between (R) and (N) then you have to re-shift again, and it will go into (R)
any advice? it's driving me nuts.
any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.
UPDATE: the cause was that the shop forgot to add the 02 sensors back

Obvisouly it got a issue and you won't be able to do a thing with it. It has a WARRANTY. Let US know what they find. It is a bxxx on a new car.

Sounds broke, I've had mine apart and fixed it myself but it was a good size job and I had no warranty. As others have said, use that warranty and keep us posted please.
