Default Anyone else order from PerformanceCorvettes?

About 20 days ago i ordered about 1600$ worth of carbon fiber parts from them, and today i received an email that my items are partially shipped. So after about a month i MIGHT have half of my stuff. MAYBE!!! Is this normal from them?

Have you checked the Transactions Feedback forum to see if anyone has posted anything there about them?

I was going to order something from them. Called their number multiple times and got their voicemail. I moved on.

And the rest of the story is.....what did you ask about delivery times at the time you ordered the parts? And the answers were:

I'm fairly certain that most vendors that sell carbon or carbon like parts don't carry a big stock and their site does state that you should allow 10-20 days for shipping on non stocked parts. Give it time and contact the vendor if you are having concerns.

I bought steering wheel caps from them off ebay before I knew they were vendors here recently.I specifically stated that the items would arrived around 3 week after I bought them...whatever the dates were.I got them around that time. The items also happened to be dimpled and not in perfect condition.Hardly visible if you didn't know to look for the imperfections, but I did.I sent them back, they were replaced and all is good.So yea,I've dealt with them.It took some time to get the parts but contact was very good and they stood behind the parts.

I purchased some items from them off ebay. Had some issues getting the correct item shipped. They were good people and good communication, but it took a while to get what I ordered.

I'd buy from them again simply because of the way they handled the error.

ive emailed them, and they replied but its a very short reply, and almost seems computer generated replies. Also tried calling, and voicemail all 5 times. Hopefully they are in good condition or they are getting it all back! Really ticks me off when companies do that.

I ordered about $600 worth of hydrocarbon parts when I received the parts they were defective it took a long time to get it straight. They made it right in the end (after I shipped my defective bezel back took them about a month to inspect that it was defective). Never again, I don't care how good the deal is. There are plenty of vendors out there that have better customer service and response time.

When things go good, they are the greatest, when things are not right, it depends if you talk to Jekyll or Hyde.

But the question(s) remain: did you ask about delivery timelines AT THE TIME OF ORDER, and what were they?

If you didn't ask, then 2 days or 20 or 50 could be a long time to you because you have no idea what it was supposed to be.

Did you read this page before you ordered/called, "Shipping and Returns"?

Clearly, is this your case?

"Special Order Products - Allow 10 - 25 *Business Days* for Any Custom Carbon Fiber or Painted Part - Please note we do not guarantee 100% custom paint matches on any color on pre painted parts without having a vehicle present to blend the paint"

http://www.performancecorvettes.com/...6-Returns.html

I'm not defending them; I'm just trying to get the facts out there.

Default spoiler

I ordered a spoiler from them and after waiting almost a month for it I cancelled it. The spoiler came anyway a week later and they would not take it back unless i paid for the shipping to send it back. After much talking and all I sold it and never have done business withthem again.

Holy **** you couldn't be more dead on. I gave up dealing with them recently and called my CC company to deal with them. They contacted me right after i called CC and agreed to refund my money when they got item back. After waiting and waiting called CC again to proceed. A month later when the CC contacted them i get an email from them saying "thanks for contacting your CC company, it is nothing but a head ache but if you want to go that route, fine. But the least you could have done was try to contact us first"!!!! WHAT??? I emailed them 2-3 times and called 100 times over a 4 day period, they never answer their phone!!!!! Plus i spoke to them finally and they agreed to refund!!!! WTF? I paid $35 for return shipping and got nothing to show for it, plus as far as i know my CC co still did not get paid yet...

I'm assuming it was sarcasm, if not then it was the worst compliment I've ever heard/seen...
