Default Road force balancing

Questions

1. Can you get or request a results printout from the Hunter road force balancer?

2. I live in S/E Michigan Clinton Township / Mt Clemens area. Is there a good place to have tires mounted and Road Force Balanced? (I am buying the tires online and just need mount and balancing)

3. What are the desired numbers for this process?

#2-
Hunter company has a locator page to find a machine, but some places haven't repaired their's after it broke. Ask before going there, and ask again after you arrive. Gues how I know...

Generally, Road Force should be 15 or below; 10 is excellent.

#1, I don't think the Road Force Balancer has a printer on it, at least the last one I saw didn't.

Default most machines don't have a printer

You can set the threshold anywhere you want. Anything under 15 lbs is great.

Contact Gary at Drago Corvettes in Flint, MI. He is located on Dort Highway near I69, phone number 810-233-0341.

He has Hunter RoadForce tire mounting and balancing equipment.

He can check radial and lateral wheel runout along with a printout of the values prior to mounting the tires. He also checks radial tire runout after tire mounting and balancing.

Gary really takes special care in doing the job right, i.e tire mounting, balancing, no wheel damage during the tire mounting process and etc.

Regards,

GSRANDY

Ok, I admit...not sure what you are talking about. I used to work in a gas station when I was MUCH younger, and did tire mounting, balancing etc, but not sure what you are referring to.

I think he's saying-
The Hunter Road Force Balancer not only checks balance, it also checks for a tire/wheel that is out of round or out of true.

Road force balancing is a method / machine that actually applies force to the tire to simulate "road force". It is suppose to be a better way to achieve good balance. You can learn about it by doing a search. Hunter makes the machine.

And what a machine it is.

OP, I have worked with four separate machines and have never once seen a printer hooked up to any of them. I wouldn't worry about it too much if you have a decent shop perform the work.

I stand corrected. Just used a new Hunter Hammerhead RFB the other day with a printer attached.
