I found there are 2 different GM rear Spoilers for the C6 Corvette. The one I was going to get has part number 19172811 for Black C6 but the guy is sold out and is now selling part number 17801479. From the pictures I can find they look pretty much the same but am wondering if anyone can tell me the difference or if you have pictures of these on your car please post and tell me which part number it is. Thanks
17801479 is not a valid GM part number. However 17801469 was the old part number for this spoiler. It was replaced by the new number and is not available.
The 19172811 he was selling for only $199 that is why I was going to buy through him but he ran out before I had the chance. He is willing to sell me the 17801473 for a little less than $299 after I contacted him about this. So are these two basically the same?

Exact same part, other one is just an old part number as well
A few days ago there was a discussion about how the back of the car gets dirty on every drive. I think it's most likely due to the low pressure area there. Does anyone know what effect a spoiler has on this? Does the car get more or less dirty? I'm inclined to think it would be worse because the spoiler would increase the low pressure effect.
I don't currently have a spoiler but I'm considering one. Would the fact that the car gets dirtier with a spoiler change my mind? Maybe since I like the car as is and would most likely never see the speeds necessary for the spoiler to be of aerodynamic value. I do like the look of the full-width spoiler however and there are some good prices on them right now...
