Hi everybody,
Figured I would introduce myself as I just joined. First off, I just jumped ship from a 2005 GTO with 23000 miles. It was truly my baby and only drove it in nice weather, Had cam and 3200 stall converter and the other bolt on but totally sleeper look and she ran 11.7.......Sooooo...After 45 years of wanting a Vette and looking for the "perfect 1" I found it online about 2.5 hrs away. After a call to the dealer and explaining how intensely fussy I am and would not drive the distance to find myself wasting time. Sooooooooo....After showing my wife the pics she loved it and said take the ride(gotta love a wife as great as her!!)
I got there and after seeing about 15 others in the last year this was definitely the one. On the phone and in person the sales person insisted that this is not the Z51 with the big motor.I believe he was confused with Z06. This was a very reputable BMW dealership. But i held a tight lip because the glovebox tag told the tale. So what is it?

The intierior is black with tan inserts
Underneath has the leaky axle seal problem but thats an easy fix but the trade off was the bottom of the car revealed it was never in the rain. All tags and stickers are perfect and everything is spotless
I dont think the price was bad 35,900 because ther car is flawless and fully loaded.
The 2.5 hr drive home was much better than the ride up.
I found my perfect dream car and she is finsally at its last home.
Im looking foward to being a trusted memeber her as I was on my GTO forum and making new friends and learning more corvette info from all of you......Please dont tempt me to spend money on all the corvette candy cuz that would be enabling..
