Default Front Conversion

I did the rear wide body almost five years ago, decided back in the fall to do the front, have had all the parts since November been waiting to get it in the shop he started on it monday. Also will be changing the the headlights to Carbon Fiber, CF side skirts and splitter as well as a APR CF rear diffuser and satin black cup wheels. Here is a few pics of the first week.

I did it a few years ago and love the look. I have the Carbon APR diffuser too
If you already had the rear done, why did you take it off?

Looking good Derwin.

Did you go with the real OEM carbon fiber fenders? I can't tell from the photos but I didn't see a hole for the ZR1 emblem.

Hi, Did you have to paint complete car or only fenders? How was the color match?
I'm planning to do the same and want to know what king of paint job I will need.
BTW, great look your car

They are OEM Randy, the guy doing the work said the fitment was good.

We are painting the complete car. The match on yellow works good just had a few small places on the car so I decided to do the whole car. I don't know how well the red matches.

Yeah, he is right, I repainted the whole car and we did it body off. Definately the right way to do it.
Going to look great.

Thats the reason I went with the OEM, I had talked with Randy ncvette_1FUNRIDE he was telling me about the fitment.

I went with the SLP ZR1 fenders. Everything else is OEM. I have a very good body shop so mine looks OK, but definitely not as good of a fit as OEM.

Not all aftermarket are an issue though, I went with the ones from Don at SS-Vette and they fit like OEM.
I recomended him to several other members who had same quality fenders with no issues.
I went OEM for bumper and hardware except the inner liners for front fender I got from Don as well, they glue on to the body so there is no gap in the wheel well.
