I would say option 2 as I am doing something similar. Although, I specifically purchased an LT2 grandsport to upgrade the interior with DSvette and/or Carravaggio parts.

vet4less I have no interest in the C7.
beatitt thanks for the advice. I'm leaning towards a supercharger right now.
I am having a similiar argument with myself right now if it helps.one day I want to send my car to callaway the leave the money in the bank. The fact is, you already know you are blowing it, just need to decide on what. Anyone who is able to afford a vette already knows its somewhat frivolous spending, who cares? enjoy it man!! get the blower and a sound system, and some cool interior mods, and......do them one at a time and take some time between to enjoy before doing the next one.
If anything have it running a LOWER boost application. Put 475-500hp to the wheels and enjoy the power on demand, yet ease of driving when you use it for normal driving duties and keep the reliability of a basically stock engine.
If I was ever to *** a S/C thats what I would do. From what this forum has said and I have read a S/C vette runs as normal for basic driving but under WOT it just screams, it is purely power on demand.
Suspension mods would be great but since you dont track it I can say that I would definately think straightline power on demand will make you and your passenger smile or scare much more than hitting hard corners slightly harder, while overall being a slight bit safer to experience the performance gains on the street. If you were tracking the car a few times a year I bet the suspension would make your times better as with most of this forum the car in stock form has more power than we can master anyways. (Flames from autocross/trackers incoming)!! haha
Why not kill two birds with one stone? How about just getting the blower and then, if there's any money left, invest that in your tire company of choice...that way, when you blow the hides off the back and have to buy new tires you can justify the expense as supporting your investments... WINNING!
Yeah do what all the people my age did invest and wait for the market to crash and loose 1/2 million go ahead.Only people making money off the market are the trading co's and employee's of same.

Fortunately, I lost little, and from 2010-2012 saw never saw monthly rate of return below 10% and peaking at 17% in June-August 2012, so technically, I MADE money from the recession.
However, unfortunately, this was not the case for everyone. My dad got bit pretty hard, but has recovered to about 95% of where he was. That's a substantial 5% though.

No PMS here bud. You posted about money TWICE in a thread where it was not wanted. I'm not trying to be rude. Just calling it how I see it. If you don't like that then you probably need to take a look in the mirror.
So far I'm thinking blower and the JOC package from Pfadt. I'm looking for fun factor here not lap times.
I had an AA kit on my C6Z and will tell you as long as you get a good installer and awesome tuner, you wont regret it. The fun factor from forced induction is just awesome. You wont have to go WOT all the time to get that wow factor. These cars handle plenty so if not tracking, Id def do option 1 first, then maybe later hook the suspension up...

Okay after almost 40 years of doing mods to cars (over 250 of them) from BMW's to Lamborghinis (and wasting about a million bucks doing them) I am going to give you the best advise you are ever going to get. The best mod you can do is to yourself, learn to be the best driver you can be learn to handle your car with no traction controls and once you have become as good as you can with the car stock then make changes. It is a street car so how often do you even get out of third gear going 50mph. Most good drivers will tell you tires, brakes, suspension mean more than power and for a street car power is nothing more than mines bigger than yours stuff. I have the last of my modded cars in my garage I spent over 240K (including the car) building it it has less than 40% of
the original parts and is worthless to anyone but me has had all nannys removed and cannot be driven safely unless the weather is perfect. So do yourself a favor before you do things to your cars think about how you really use them.
