Default break help please

I am a little confused on my brakes. My car is a 2008 C6 with the F55 package but I have the drilled and sloted rotors. Does this mean I have the Z51 brakes?

Because I drag race the car the back rotors and pads are beat up and need to be replaced. I want to put some low price rotors and pads on the back but I want to use a good low dust pad on the front. I know I will lose a little braking in the rear with the cheaper stuff but I do not track race the car. I drive to work a couple times a week and go to the drag strip once or twice a month.

So what do I need to get and who has the best price?

I'd be happy to answer, but your avatar is just f___g ridiculous.. get a life! Why is the Corvette Forum a political forum also?? I never understand this.... can't we just be vocal about the thing we all agree about.. THE CAR!..

oh yeah and they are "Brakes"... not breaks...

(Now Racer's avatars are always tasteful and politically correct)...

The F55 option on 07 Vettes and up have the same drilled rotors and the same calipers as the Z51 option. They're not "Z51 Brakes".

I agree. Frankly I think he should just figure it out for himself now.

This thread is about brakes it has nothing to do with your political views. I have no interest in what you are selling.

I cant really make out you pic to well as im on my phone. From what I can see they are z51 brakes. I would contact kevin at parts taxi 1st or gene at gm parts house 2nd. They can run your vin and tell you if you have the z51 package then can sell you the parts for a better price than most. Ill leave your avatar out of the discussion.

It seems to me a person's avatar is irrevelant. Many have responded to other posts with far worse intentions or tact. As far the the brakes go, yes, Z51 option.
