Wheel Identification?
Friend is looking at buying a 2011 Vert that he found on Cars.com. It's a 3lt Base with the cross drilled rotors. Something that stands out is the rims that are on it. Dealer that has this says that they ordered it new for the original owner and that they were a "special option" wheel. I can see from the pictures posted that the wheel have a very symmetrical design with 15 spokes. I'm sorry the site won't let me copy the pictures. Grey painted finish with a polished look on the barrel. These rims strike a cord with anyone?

Your not going to get any real answer here since you have no photo of the wheels.
From your description, those wheels could be just about anything.
Maybe you could find a photo on the internet of a similar wheel and post a photo of that.

Only "special option" wheel from GM with 15 spokes is the GCA (Genuine Corvette Accessories) wheel. Here's a chrome one to compare:

Do they look like these 15 spoke wheels?
These are RPO code: "VEU" polished wheels (dealer installed item)
.

Just a personal opinion but those look like they are off of a 1981 DeLorean.
