Hatch recall
Is it me or does the search function suck?
I haven't done the hatch separation recall yet. I hate to let someone putz with the panel alignment. I do trust the dealer I use but I'm still hesitant.
Has everyone been pleased after having this done?
It seems unnecessary.

Are you asking about the roof panel separation recall or the rear hatch hinge recall?

I'm talking about the rear hatch hinge recall. I don't know what years but I got a notice that my '11 is affected.

A Recall is on the dealers dime. Just the time getting it done is all it will cost you.

Got mine done long ago with no problems. So far I haven't crashed, nor has anybody crashed into me, so I can't say whether the new part holds together any better. I think only a limited number of 2011s were affected. Mine is a May 2011 build.
