I just ordered a set from nakidparts. I got a confirmation email on my order with a note stating they have parts on order and will be in a few days.

I did consider fabricating my own collars, but for $25 these at NP became a no brainer.

I've had a set on mines for more than a year. I also have them just slightly open, but one of my valves rattled pretty loudly at idle when it was just barely opened, so I had to open it a bit more than I would have wanted. Then, you get kind of a motorboat sound. I fiddled with it to get it right at the point where the valve didn't rattle, and I like the way it sounds.
