That is the cargo cover and comes standard with certain packages.

I have a family of 5 and shop at Costco with the vette. Large paper towel packages.....large toilet paper packages, cases of drinks, frozen food, cleaners, large boxes of laundry detergent, etc. NO problem. Of course I am (by now) a pro at packing the car. Largest items in first (nearest to front of car) and work your way back as the height diminishes dramatically once you hit the rear. But have NEVER had a problem. It is my DD as well.

Put my mother-in-law on the roof and the dog in the trunk and other than her smell when the windows were open and major damage to the suspension all fitted.

Recommend getting a partition with the coupe though as if you hit the brakes you'll definitely have some unwanted company up front. Soda especially doesn't like to be shaken up.

The cover came with the car along with a mesh cargo net. I chose the NCM pickup option and my car is a GS 2LT. I'm not sure if all dealers give them away.

I was putting a kitchen garbage can in the back of my coupe one day. You know the oval stainless kind with the foot pedal to open it? Bubba rolled by in his beat up F150 and hollered out "good luck getting that in there!". Swallowed it up without even a burp.

Lots. One time I was running lead for a trucker friend who was transporting Coors beer 8 states away. What a time we had with them smokies.

In the back I had my hat and jacket.

I did happen to pick up this woman though in a wedding dress.

I'm eyeballing a 3LT 2010 so would that likely come equipped with cargo net?

That Trans Am should have had plenty of room...I think the OP was asking about a Corvette...
