I have not seen any real suede from the premo after market manufactures. Everyone seems to love Alcantara for its durability, easy maintenance (cleaning), and UV/Heat resistance.
That is correct, it is alcantara (Firewater burns and AO Roads are correct). It is a man made material. For most messes, you should be able to use a dry brush and brush it off. This is true for most dirts. In know there are products for cleaning it specifically, but since I have not used them myself, I am reluctant to give more information. That said, I at least wanted to reassure you that it is alcantara and not a genuine suede.
