Well Cleveland weather looks to be nice today, should take C6 out of storage.
Parked with CTEK for 5 plus months, last year the fob was not recognized, and I had to use the key and hatch entry trick, which set off the alarm. Any tips on syncing the fob after such a long time off?
Fob is stored in house car is in garage.
Check tire pressure, fire her up and away we'll go!!!!!!!
Cleveland weather was so nice yesterday I just had to take mine out for a run to Solon, back home and then to the office. Felt great to be in her again. (Wife named the car Charlotte.)
Mine was on a charger all winter until I moved her to the new house in Ohio City last month. No problem getting the fob to work.
Mine is a 2009. Bought used, not sure if batteries were changed. Maybe your fob batteries got weak and that is the problem? One of the fobs for my Lexus (wife's fob) died from lack of use.
Also in Cleveland and took my Z out of storage yesterday and it fired right up. I use a Battery tender II and have never had a problem in 5 years of use. Could be the fob. Good luck as it's 66 and sunny here right now.
Never had the issue withe the car not recognizing the FOB after winter storage, have stored mine for 4 winters with CTek, never an issue. Possible a weak battery in the FOB?
Took mine out for its first run of the season today too! 50 degrees. Had to replace the key fob battery first though. It's good to be a corvette driver again!
I also live near Cleveland. I was tempted to take ours out but while we were running errands yesterday you could still see a lot of salt residue on the roads. It is supposed to rain most of the week so the roads should be washed off and ready by next weekend.

Im with Inca on this since we live in relative close proximity. Still way too much salt on the roads. I can still see salt runs and crystals in the middle of some roads. Today was probably close to 70s with a beautiful breeze and it's absolutely killing me. They're calling for possibility of rain all this coming week with a chance of some small snow flakes on Friday. If ODOT starts dumping more salt out I'm going to blow a gasket.
Takes too long for the roads to be salt free after all the layers they spread in the winter.
I'd rather drive then rinse even if it is just the wand spray washes to get the grime off.
Took mine out over the weekend and got the "No Fob Detected" message when I got ready to fire it up in the garage. Car is always on a battery tender and the Fob batteries are the original making them 5 years old.
Replaced the Fob battery and all is good.
Couldn't take it anymore! I finally got mine cranked up and out of the garage, today. Didn't have any problems, since sitting from last November on a battery tender. Have to take it tomorrow morning for inspection, then, all is good to go. It sure felt good to be back behind the wheel, again.
