i agree, take it all off and start again...no silicone - attracts dirt...try maybe making the mounting holes slightly bigger so you have wiggle room. 3M also makes this primer for their tape and it is super tacky - once it is down it wont come off..
i use it in all my CF vinyl installations and anywhere where using the 3M dbl side tape...also keep in mind the tape is heat activated so don't do it while cold outside...
I have the same spoiler.
It was definitely not the easiest thing to install.
You have to be careful not to let the vertical side portions stick before you adhere the top.
It looks like that is what happened to you.
The spoiler is somewhat flexible, and you can message it straight as you are pulling the plastic strip off of the 3M tape.
I would start over, if it was me.

Ya i bought 7/8 tape this time i did it with 1/2 last time. maybe the extra width will help to.. recommendations for cleaning the paint off? Idk if i want to make to the point it wont come off. Bc if i repaint the bumper ill never get it off. gonna have to wait til this weather stops being stupid.. raining every day is not helping..
to me it looks like the gap is just the width of the tape, if thats the case theres no way around that. The tape is the tape. If im wrong then it does look bad. It also looks terrible because it looks like dried wax in there, what's that white stuff??
I have the same one, I have had it on years and recently replaced the taped ends. I had to re-do the tape on the outer ends, probably because I wash my car 3 times a week too though. You need to use the real good 3M stuff, and just clean it really well prior to application. I have a hell of a time getting this stuff off when i replaced mine outside the spots the elements got too.
This pic was taken after being on 4 years.. I fixd the edge to the right in 30-40 minutes..

my bad, after zooming in (a lot) i can see the space. Where i thought the wax was wasn't where the gap is.... Yeah, is needs to be fixed i think... good luck, but take your time, you'd rather screw up the spoiler than the car paint!!!
And that white **** was wax lol i cleaned it off lol - bought a canon camera a sx30is still learning how to take pix with it. seems allot of pix are granny and idk hw to clean that up
did you fix it because in those pics it looks pretty good!!! and i knew there was wax in there!!! lol
ya finally stopped raining and warmed up.. I need to wheel the spoiler now. Bc scratched it up pushing on it. not a big deal my flex 3401 and adams products will take care of that..
ya i need to go over the whole care with a toothbrush and get the wax out of those spots.
whats nice about black is you cant tell from the back if theres gap lol
