Default Blue tooth

I have a 2011 with On Star, but it doesn't have blue tooth for my phone. Is it possible to add? I use the hands free in my GMC and miss it in my Vette.

There are some ways to do it. Search the Corvette forum and Google Bluetooth onstar. You can also replace the head unit.

"New potato" tune link is OK and so is the Motorola Roadster II.
I've got both. Tunelink is good for bluetooth tunes and the roadster is really good for calls or tunes.

Default Bluetooth

More confused, I found a thread about adding the audio controls on the right side of the steering wheel. I understand I would need to buy a new wheel with controls on both sides and find an Onstar box with bluetooth, but what about the wiring?

Ii take it you have a 1LT? Because as far as I know all 2LT and up come with Bluetooth built in, although it has nothing to do with On Star.

My recommendation would be an after market stereo upgrade with Bluetooth and not worry about the steering wheel controls. The factory older style Bluetooth doesn't work with MP3 players, or streaming music from a smartphone, it only does regular phone conversations.. A stereo upgrade would get you all the current functions.
