ive got a MTI six shooter in mine...rattles quite a bit. should have bnought a MGW but I'd rather put that kind of money towards something like a vararam
I'm on the fence as well, maybe I'll find someone at the bash with a T6060 that will let me try theirs out. I think it made more of a difference on the T56 reading through all of the old threads, I have read some others with newer cars say they could not tell a huge difference post MGW.
Mgw is the word here BUT I love my Hurst Billet plus.
I can't comment on the MGW but the Hurst is so so sweet
super short and quick shifts problem is they didn't make the shifter fit the car as far the 2 piece boot Corvette boot so I have a easy mod and to makes it unbeatable.
Install the shifter then wrap "seal tape" It is a rubber product kinda like black tape except it's all rubber sold to fix a leaky pipe.
It makes a solid rubber spacer that's round will never move or change.
Simply wrap around to proper thickness to match the boot.
Much like the bulge in the MGW which does the same thing.
Install the first boot. Then wrap again smaller this time.
Finished product which has almost no Rattle usally none but sometimes a little.
Bur it's quick short fast and very quiet above the console!
best thing you could do is test drive one and see if you like it......its not for everybody...
and i dont know what was all that tape for above rockinblue 08? didnt have to do any of that to mine,,,i did cut the rubber boot to make it fit..i have heard the small rattle comes from the **** vibrating..IDK
With MGW you can. Not sure about the **** with the others. The boot will always remain.
it's late and I'm feeling lazy...
any link to said products and install for the kit? I'm finding the stock shifter good for just casual driving but if you want to fire through the gears you really need a short throw.

My research indicates the same thing ^^ the stock TR6060 short-shifter is very good & I would need to drive an MGW (best reviews on CF) to see if I prefer it over stock.
No one "needs" a short throw. For many it feels more positive and sporty.
Whenever I want to upgrade to a short(er) throw shifter, I just hop in my old S10 and drive that dog around for a while. When I get back in the vette, I'm like "whoa! such a pleasure it is shifting with this short throw shifter".
Im very pleased with my mgw. Throws are super short and percise. I couldnt be happier. Get the mgw you will love it and if not you can sell it on the forum for a couple of bucks less than new in a matter of minutes!
