Really wanted to let it go..But the "pm a price" practice by all vendors on this site is a real pain in the wallot...to me it leads itself to overpriced products...jmho...Not directed at any one vendor...
Thanks...I heard this before..it just bugs the heck out 0f me..I just wont order unless the price is posted for all to see...oh well...thanks for the reply..vent over
It is called Minimum Advertised Price (MAP). Minimum Advertised Price is an agreement between suppliers and retailers stipulating the lowest price an item is allowed to be advertised at.
Doesn't mean they can't sell it for lower than that amount, but they are not allowed to advertise that lower price.
I don't think all "PM for pricing" posts can be explained by minimum advertised price. More often than not, I find parts cheaper on the internet "advertised on the seller's site" without any PM us or "add to cart to see" hassles.

Yes most products are MAP priced. For many on these forums (not just this one) PMing secret prices is the only way for them to make a sale. It's really bad on the import and Camaro5 forums.
There are plenty of vendors on here that make their own product and require you to PM for pricing too, so thats not always the case. I have mentioned in a few threads they should just post the friggin price.
I agree it is frustrating.
I like RPI. they tell you the price, they give you the link, and they give you the discount code. Thats the way it should be. They have got a lot of my business because of it.
